When was your application received by CIO?

Hi Sandra001, my app received by CIO 8 months ago. Unfortunately got returned though. Second time received by CIO on Apr 16. Anyway, impossible to skip ME and go straight to IP I think, shall I call them or just wait to see what happen next?

Hi Sandra, I got fingerprint request on July 21, I sent them to fingerprints and it got to the CIC on Aug 6.I am Ainp inland March30 applicant, got my EP on July2.

My timeline:

BCPNP nomination - January 5th 2015
Application Received at CIC - Feb 20th 2015
XEP - 1st May 2015
EP - 22nd June 2015

I still havent received call for medical, any suggestions on what to do? Ecas also says "1. application received" What are the next steps? how long will it take?

I guess you should just wait for the next step, I don't think it's a bad thing being in a process before medical.. Let's see what's next, probably MR..

No, I hope we will receive it this year .. Did anyone try to call them? I really wish to know if they're even working on our applications? Maybe they will keep them in Sydney, I know they do that sometimes, but I don't know why it takes so long to get MR, I also think that they are doing our background cheks.. What do you think?

I'm a Feb 10th Applicant.. received my AOR on Jun 16th & yet to receive my medicals

Tried talking to a CIC agent but no luck on any update..

I hope so they are doing background checks. I tried calling them, they have same answer that processing time is 16 months which is untrue as November applicants are getting passport requests.
