Hi Engineer12345,

1- The "Overseas Permanent residence-Provincial nominee" option on the case inquiry sounds not correct but that is the closest option one could go for. I selected that option although I am inland and that worked as they replied to me saying that they got my inquiry!

2- Regarding the police clearance certificate/s, I had the option to scan and send that by e-mail BUT I went with the second option which was mailing the hard copy/ies via Canada Post to the CIC address specified in their e-mail.

Even if we are inland applications, we have to select "Overseas Permanent residence-Provincial nominee". One of the CIC agents clarified that to me earlier this month.

good news is that

"19,172 refugees who have arrived in Canada or who have been approved but have not yet travelled to Canada."

almost close to the 25000 refugee deadline...now we can expect them to resume working on our files..

Congratulations buddy.. After seeing this looks like I am on last step too... Applied on may28 in process since August 11 Medicals received Jan 11 almost close but just 4 lines
