we got an email first asking advising us to confirm to remind us to submitted any outstanding documents if we have and to also pay the fee. then we got a separate email advising us that updated information was needed for the Declaration of background information forms for myself and my partner,.

Need some advice. Due to low oil prices these days I may lose my job any day now. I was wondering if let's say this happens, am I going to get refusal from PNP?
I am on Bridging Open Work Permit (no restrictions) now and in the stage of "In Process" waiting for Passport Request.

I also need advice here. I wanted to quit my current job for my safety. I am employer stream pnp nominee and already working here from almost two years. Currently having open work permit and Medical submitted recently, should I quit or not? Thanks in advance

Today, I received GCMS notes and disappointed to see that my due date for Medicals, Security & Criminality checks is December 2016.

This is way far from now and don't know how much time they will take upto PPR?????

Why they will take so much time?

No worries man ...same thing happened with me ..lost my field job and then was working in retail
Once this happens no worries at all as it happens everyday ..
I got my ppr yesterday was worried too but part of the game

Hello Akhan

If someone applies under Employer driver stream, he must continue working with the same employer until and unless he/she gets PR visa. Correct? I believe you had an Open Work Permit, so you were able to continue onto another job.

This is what AINP website shows.

Effective August 27, 2015, the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) will not be accepting new applications under any AINP Streams or Categories until January 27, 2016. This temporary pause will help the AINP assess existing applications in the queue and prevent the queue from growing further.

I don't know too much about other provincial nomination

Which province?

Btw I recommend you to start reading cic website and the provincial website before this question

Follow to checklist and you will be fine
