No you don't, just let the US officer know that you're doing a flag pole, he won't let you cross the border, but he'll send you to the Canadian border to get your PR. (he won't stamp any "denied" on your passport either)

Hi,
Could you please write your complete time line?
Which PNP and are you single applicant ?

Good for him. I got through to CIC today and they told me that my file is in background verification. They said it may pass the processing time. There is no telling how long it will take. This is what they said to all those folks who waited for 30+ months. This is the worst they could say to me.
did you get GCMS notes?

I posted my timeline on the other thread. Please see below:

UPDATE
Inland - OINP - Single
Nationality: China
Applied: May 4th, 2017
AOR: July 21st, 2017
Medical Request: March 19th, 2018
Medical Passed: April 13th, 2018
Pre-Arrival Letter: I've been checking with my agent but don't think I receive any...
Update on online self service: August 1st, 2018 The last (4th) line's been " Medical result has been received". But in the morning of August 1st, 2018, I checked and realized that line's been moved to 5th line. And the new 4th line is " We've sent you medical instruction on March 19th, 2018. To avoid any delays, please inform us .... etc..." And I questioned my agent and they confirmed nothing to worry about, since I passed the medical exam already...
Passport request: August 1st, 2018 9:14PM

I just got the good news from my agent earlier this morning and I am so happy!
Good luck to all of you and hope your PPRs are on their way! Best wishes!
