So, in this case, they are perhaps right. Cause your case might be still in the first stage of BG (criminal check) which generally take 7-9 month.

No that’s not correct. A medical request is received only after your criminality check is completed. I have an exact same timeline and I ordered GCMS notes. My criminal, medical and eligibility is passed. Security check is not started.

You will not receive a medical request until your criminality check is passed.

By the way, are there anyone else getting the same call?

Once your application is employer boumd they will surely call. They called my boss 2 times he said they promised to call again i think that will be before getting PPR

hi, do you know if majority of April applicants received MR in the beginning of April? Because I suspect the PPRs that are being sent now are the ones who received MR end of Feb, beginning of March.

There is also a scheduled maintenance for tomorrow morning, so more PPRs will come tomorrow.

Glad to hear that. Thanks. I ordered my GCMS notes and everything is passed except security. My security shows not started. I spoke with the agent who said that some officers do not update it when the "security check is in process". Not sure how credible the answer is. You get different answers from them every time you call. I doubt that they're properly trained in the call centres.

Same situation. The first officer i spoke with said everything is fine nothing is missing.
I called again another officer told me security not yet started.

I spent a fair chunk of my time last week on researching the GCMS notes in regards to precisely security. I went through notes of a person who's received the PR already and ordered the notes after that. All of that convinced me that they never show any subactivities or updates pertaining to the Security check in the GCMS notes. I guess it's because the nature of that check is highly confidential (CBSA, CSIS, Interpol, etc. do those checks).

So basically there is no way to know whether the security check has actually started. I assume it has, just because it's been so long since all other checks were done. That's why I stopped calling agents and asking them if my security check has started. They are just reading from the same notes as I have in front of me.
