Thank you for sharing your experience, but looks like my case is different, and yes, I have the employment restriction, I'm the IT developer, don't know why they had to put the employment restriction in my nominee certificate.
This is the modern slavery, I started this whole thing from June 2015, and still waiting, almost 3 years, nowadays it is really hard to stay in one job more than 3 years, especially IT industry.
My company has arranged this transition, so all my coworkers are getting better offers, salary raise, more vacation days, but I have to stay put, and company knows I can't go anywhere, so they are taking advantage of me.

I meant from getting the nominee certificate including pre-sreening.
And it looks like the Nov.~Dec. 2016 applicants are getting the PPR today.

March 13 still waiting mr. Couldn't reach to the agent then I gave up. Get some marry jsne. It will come when it should come. my pgwp expires on Nov 2018. Should be good timing I guess

I am March 31, 2017 applicant still waiting for MR. Don't worry i called CIC yesterday and they said each application is different and you will be getting your MR soon. Fingers crossed and waiting game continues

Went to port of entry and officer confirmed that i passed criminility, i have also seen the notes i ordered, eligibility is under process

Where is the port of entry? Is it possible to see an officer in person? Did not know that..

The officer at the border will not update you about the status of your application. I had a different scenario, i went to change my work permit so i was able to ask these questions to them but if you go specifically just to find out about your pr application status, they wont help u

I had such a bad experience at the border, when I tried to change my work permit, I used to have the open work permit thru my wife status.
I went to the border to change my work permit once I got the nominee from the OINP, so I brought all the required documents including the LMIA exemption fee receipt and the work permit support letter from the OINP.

However the officer at the border said, I need to bring the job offer letter that has the end date same as the expiration date on my current work permit, because I’m the foreign worker, and the foreign worker can’t have the job offer without the end date. The officer didn’t even want to communicate with me, when I tried to explain.

You can imagine how frustrated I was, but I had to I ask my company to change my job offer letter, and of course my company said NO. What company gives you the job offer that has the end date.

For some reason, I wanted to give it a try, nothing to lose, I got the different officer, that officer didn’t event ask any questions, and got the new closed work permit.

Just wanted to share with you my experience.
