Need opinion on this. really worried and tensed now.

I am Manitoba PNP(with Employment restriction) and on closed WP. I stayed in manitoba for almost 1 and half years but i have to move out as my employer transferred me to ontario on an assigment.

Now i have got COPR and supposed to land shortly in Winnipeg US border.I have a permanent communication address(relative) in winnipeg which i provided to CIC and also updated them with my current residential adddress in Ontario.
Do you feel that any issues may happen during landing at POE due to my movement or due to the winnipeg address i will be providing for PR card as the address is a relative's one.

PLEASE HELP!

Anyone ,any suggestion on this will really help

It usually takes a week after being received. Be patient a little bit more bud :D

for sure, your return post will be activated this week or early next week

Just to be on the safe side make sure your permanent address is still in Manitoba. Bringing Ontario into the conversation is a distraction.

Play safe my friend you are almost there.

I sent my application(MPNP 15th Draw ) to CIO and they received last month. Now I am trying to link my account in GCkey but it is showing as application not found. Is there any specified period of time that I need to wait to get my application available or I am doing something wrong at some end?? Thanks a ton in advance.

Don't search with PR File number. Try to search with your UCI, Pasport No. Full Name and Given Name and DOB. , i did with these identifier and got link and did the same for my friend

Do you know when for the last time background changes from not needed to in progress. I passes my medical 2 months ago and still background is not needed. Do you have any idea based on your GCMS notes. I know the security check can take up to 5 months and it's not reasonable that they haven't started the process! any idea??

Hello Umanitoba,

These updates are very different for each applicant. There is no unique time frame from my experience but I can only share my experience.

I did my medicals in September 2016 and it changed to "passed" but my eligibility and background check was still in progress until January 25th, 2017 when every thing changed to approved overnight.

4 + months was a long wait but I knew I could only expect "approved" in the end no matter how long it took.

You are almost there Umanitoba. Hang on!.
