Hi guys,

This question is for the people who have received ppr and ordered gcms notes during the processing of thier application. Did anybody received ppr before the "due data" listed on their gcms notes? if yes, how long before?

Thanks in advance

So I have a situation
I got DM on my ECAS on 11 Jan 2017, I got no PPR so I called Cic customer service on 27 to see wtz going on..
Agent said that , on 13 January, email was sent. On the other hand my immigration lawyer saying that he never received anything. I called Cic and requested if they can send email again. Now this process may take up to 3 months.

I sent email to my local MP on 28th January, but his office has not replied yet.

Is there anything else I can do?

Congrats LuckyChamp. wish you all the luck for your new start as PR.

Need opinion on this. really worried and tensed now.

I am Manitoba PNP(with Employment restriction) and on closed WP. I stayed in manitoba for almost 1 and half years but i have to move out as my employer transferred me to ontario on an assigment.

Now i have got COPR and supposed to land shortly in Winnipeg US border.I have a permanent communication address(relative) in winnipeg which i provided to CIC and also updated them with my current residential adddress in Ontario.
Do you feel that any issues may happen during landing at POE due to my movement or due to the winnipeg address i will be providing for PR card as the address is a relative's one.

PLEASE HELP!

I experienced that also. My ppr email was sent to a wrong email add.
I called ircc to resend to the correct email address after 2 days my agent received the passport request.
As long as it was confirmed that they already sent your pp request just make your own annex A with your details on.
(my agent does) And send your passport to ottawa.

About Landing.

I have seen alot of people conduct their landing process at the border a.k.a flagpoling. I was initially left with the notion that booking an appointment with the nearest IRCC office for Landing could take too long (6-8 weeks according to IRCC agent).

This morning, I made a call to IRCC and got a landing appointment within 4 weeks. You call and give them your details and they will call you back with an appropriate date. You will be asked to bring your Confirmation of Permanent Residence document (CoPR), your vaild passport and work permit, and other documents that may apply in your case.

You have to make sure that you are not out of status.

You will be given an appointment based on your postal code. e.g if you live in Edmonton area, your closest IRCC office will be Edmonton. Even in the case where Calgary or Lethbridge has landing appointments available you will still be given Edmonton if you reside in Edmonton.

Getting the appointment option could save you time and money.

An appointment works for me because, my work permit is months away from expiry. I understand others may not have the luxury of waiting 4 weeks to get an appointment.

I wish everyone success. You guys are warriors!

Hello Joshi,

I don't know why CIC will take 3 months to send another PPR. I will suggest you call CIC again and tell another representative about your situation.

I am sure you will get an answer. Thanks.
