Just got PPR about an hour back, oct 26 applicant

You do not need valid US visa to flagpole.
Once you arrive at the border you have to tell them that you do not want to enter USA, but want to return to Canada in order to activate Permanent Residence.
They are very familiar with this procedure as a lot of people doing it every day.
They will ask you to come inside, look at your documents, give you form and send you back to Canada.
This will not affect your ability to obtain US visa in future.

I've flagpoles multiple times without US visa, and in later date obtained one without any problems.

Weird thing is mycic account still show my application in process however if i check my application status online without logging into mycic account it says decision made.

I'm a Sep 25th applicant and got DM & ppr Jan 5th. I was in a real dilemma because I had already booked a trip to my homeland and my flight is Jan 21st. But I decided to sent the passport with my flight confirmation and a explain latter anyway. CIC received them Jan 6th. Do you guys know whether there is anything else I could do to speed up the process?
