Just a quick question in regards of Annex A: my Mailing address ist just a PO box, so nobody there to sign to confirm receiving the return envelope. Can I just use my address at work or what should I do?

Congrats to all who received good news. My friend's time line, sent on 19 delivered on 28, activated on January 4, received the passport this afternoon... :-) mine is still in Richmond.

Today I had a couple of inbox messages concerning about wrong entries on CoPR letter. I would like to share my experience here to help more.

I got wrong "original entry date", "last entry date", and "COR" on CoPR letter. I went to border for landing directly without calling CIC after some research.

Those errors actually do not matter at all, according to CBSA officer. Just be sure all kinds of your bio information on CoPR and immigration visa are correct. CBSA officer will ask you to confirm if everything on the CoPR is correct, now remember to mention to him/her that you have some non-critical wrong information and give him/her detail. Then you should be fine and will be a PR within a few minutes.

One last thing is remember to check "Date became a P.R." on CoPR after everything is done. I read there were one or two guys had this date wrong. That was bad for them.

Good luck everyone!

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum. Here is my timeline:

Application submitted: Oct 21, 2015
AOR: January 27, 2016
Medical: September 7, 2016

I'm student and i was asked for CV, Resume and list of publications in Nov 6 and my background check turned into "in progress" in December 15. no DM or PPR yet. Is there anyone else here who is also student and have been asked for CV that got their PPR already?
