can we share are time lines, for passport return.

cic received mine on the 23 Dec. return tacker not activated yet

In Toronto, appointment time is in two weeks but the border is 2 hours 30 min away from my place so I will prefer that

Yes u have to send them email with ur application# in d subject line and follow the outline that u received in d auto email.
That was what I did first and I received d auto response, then I sent another email following d instructions in first auto email. Then I received another email from them for my dependants.
Hope this helps.

Still no reply since last Saturday (Dec 24) from CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca regarding spouse Visa issuance instruction to follow ...

My passport received to cic on 19 dec but still return tracker is not activated and online still application is not closed

Oct 20th Applicant. No DM and PPR.

Seems like Applicants of September month got there PPR, Probably January 2017 will be for October month Applicants.

I have one question, is there any possibility to receive any updates for DM and PPR by mail instead email?

Just wondering..
I applied for work permit extension on November, PPR email came in and sent my passport however my work permit extension application never moved into process, just "SUBMITTED NOT STARTED" status. I am on implied status now because my current work permit expires Dec 22. What will happen? are they not processing it? or going to refund compliance fee and app fee?
