My lawyer apply PR through Nominee program. Now I need extend my WP. She strongly recommendet me to use they service. She said that is very hard to get Bridging work permit. Its peanut, I applied mine .... very simple... they want money plz don't be scare ... just follow the online link and get the reference code for your application and then follow checklist if your case is exceptional where sys does not allow you then I would suggest call CIC agent they will send you manul link on your email with guidleine .... explain them your scenario properly and correctly .... To be fairly honest, I have never applied for BOWP, and I do hope I won't have to do that (my current work permit expires on October 2017). But I can tell you, that I have filled every form for me and my family. I even helped my parents to get their visitor visas. That lawyer of you make her living out of people who have the money and are either lazy or scared to do the processes by themselves.

So far, I have applied/helped filling documents for study permits, work permits, Ontario PNP, restoration of status for me and my family, and letters of invitations and visitor permits for my parents and family. Every form is easy to fill, and if you have a doubt you can always call CIC or send them a inquiry.

I do know that BOWP processing is quite fast, and even if you fail to fill it, you will have enough time to send a second application fixing whatever you did wrong, assuming you have more than 2 months before your current permit expires.

Go ahead and try it yourself, don't let anyone scares you. There are no limits of what you can do, as long as you have the documentation on how to do it.

Ok guys, since I've seen something like this in other forums. I decided to do a the service of getting the most data I could from the forums. I spent some hours compiling the info, and still I am pretty sure, I am missing a lot of you, so if you could update your data in here, that would be great. What I am looking the most for is the group number if you have it. I think there is a big chance that this number have something to do with the sequence our ppr will be submitted...

Hi guys, I just received my GCMS notes ordered on November 08. I am October 09, 2015 applicant. My notes indicate the followong:

Group Name: PACE-JW-58
Group#: 1-AAB7D3H

ASSESSMENTS

Eligibility: Passed
Securuty: (Blank, so I guess passed)
Criminality: Passed
Medical: Passed

Location: PACE

And lastly, at the end on the section notes it states: "File reviewed. No apparent A35/37 concerns evident". Several pages include the note s. 21 at the right superior corner.

Does that mean my PR is near?

My pleasure guys. Now I do believe that the group itself have something to do with the right sequence, check the numbers we have and the order:

1-A1QENB7
1-A3OJS4T
1-A7O7VOU
1-A90NA9Q CrisGov
1-A8U8KFH Shanty

There is an alphanumeric sequence. Applicants since June have had this sequence somehow (they started with 1-1) In this example, if everything goes right, shanty SHOULD get his ppr first than me, because he is first in numerical sequence A8 < A9, even when both his appl filled date and background check dates were later than mine. His agent might be giving him priority for whatever reason. Don't get me wrong, I'm fine about that, the idea of having the numbers, is just so we know that if a sequence close to ours had got its ppr, its very likely to be our turn. And also if sequences close to ours, have got ppr and we haven't, that would give us a good reason to call the CIC/MP to put some pressure to our case.

Jovie is a special case, her sequence starts with a 2- I dont know if that's good or not, I think either Jimmy Mcgill or Arq had a sequence starting with 2 as well, they both got their ppr already.

There's gonna be a lot of opinion regarding this. Some people will say wait. But if I were you, I would apply immediately. The tendency is you'll become impatient about PRR or PR approval because you really don't wanna spend for a work permit that you would probably gonna be using for a month or even days, or maybe not anymore. But if you have a valid work permit, it's going to be less worry and less stress. We are hoping for PR in 16 months or less. But there are some few instances that it's gonna be more than that. I would not mind spending 255 for having peace of mind (or just less stress and worry). Good luck on us.

Hello everyone,
I have a question to those who have done their medicals upfront. I am a July 2016 applicant (so a lot later than you guys) and here is my timeline


We received your application for permanent residence on July 22, 2016.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on October 17, 2016.
We started processing your application on October 18, 2016.
Medical results have been received.

Here is my question.
The last line where it says medicals received. Does that automatically happen if you do your meds upfont or does it mean that I am (already?) at the point of those being requested?
I don't want to be in hopes that result in frustration.
The truth is just good enough.
You have the experience.
Please help me out here. There is no date with the meds being received.
