I am confused here.. I sent email to Philippine consulate general - Calgary (calgarypcg@yahoo.ca), They replied now saying;

"we do not extend passports, Please review your passport ASAP. You may come in as walk-in if you want, Walk-ins are welcome Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, or if you want to send an appointment, please read below"

Dandan88 so am not sure how it really goes. I heard about passport extensions stamps when I was in UAE consulate.

Yes, I have a friend too. But I am not sure how she did it... Maybe emergency reasons. Did you know that they are allowing you to borrow your old passport? Just tell them you still need it. You can only get your new passport if you returned your old passport. You just have to sign something.

oh I see.. how about I need my old passport back (once I re-newed) because my UK and USA visa are stamp on it?

One of my friend got PPR last October, IRCC requires to have 1 year validity of her passport. ( email reminder says 6 months validity) she went to Phil Cons Calgary for passport extension..

I just called CIC Help center and they said that the passport has to be valid for just 6 months, as per the reminder email ! is your friend inland applicant ?

I double check with my friend if she did a passport extension, she said No. (Sorry for the wrong info)
It was passport renewal for less than 3 weeks.

oh I see.. how about I need my old passport back (once I re-newed) because my UK and USA visa are stamp on it?

They will return it to you along with your new passport, bubutasan lng nila...

I am a sep 28,2015 applicant.My Background check went to INPROGRESS on 17 November.And Review of eligibility also shows inprogress in My cic.But in my GCMS notes whcih i received on November 11th,it shows Eligibility PASSED.

Can you please help me understand why the review of eligibility status is different in MY cic and GCMS notes if anyone has info on this.

Please keep note of it that status in CIC is not uptdated and matches according to the actuall standing . In my case, i got my PPR but my CIC status remain unchanged .

In your note, your criminality and background check passed or not.

If your Security in in Blank, it means they're done with your security check. Coul you check if Security states "not started" or is in in blank?
