Hi Guys...need some help around the digital photo scan, this is what I see for all visa applications in CIC's website -

The following must be included on the back of one photo:
The name and complete address of the photo studio and the date the photo was taken. The photographer may use a stamp or handwrite this information. Stick-on labels are unacceptable.
Your guarantor must clearly write: "I certify this to be a true likeness of (applicant's name)" and sign (guarantor’s name and surname). If you are renewing an adult passport, a guarantor is not needed.

Now as we all know for e-APR, we do have to submit a digital photo, would this photographer's stamp as well as guarantor's name and surname at the back holds true even for e-APR applications, getting a perfectly scanned photo itself is becoming a challenge, I'm wondering if I need to get the back also filled with the above and scan it in the same doc? How can I do that for jpef. they mention that it shouldn't be a PDF.

No you dont need to scan back side of photo. It is only when your filing paper application and if they ask photo. I think this is just general instruction from CIC.

I am filing my online WP application today thru my representative and he said just give us your photo we will scan it. He also mentioned no need to have a brand new one.

There were no group name or no in my 1st GCMS notes. Location PS.
It got added when I received my 2nd. Location PACE.

So seems like it's gone to next department.
Our timelines are pretty much similar.
So I am sure yours must have gone to PACE as well.
May be it will be added on your next GCMS.

I am Oct 13 applicant, they asked for new medicals for my dependents on Oct 1, I submitted those on 3rd Oct and got the verification for it in a week. Now its been 2 months and my background check has still not started yet. I am very depressed about the pace at which they are processing my application. What should I do? When CIC ask for passport request and their condition is passport has to be valid for more than 6 months,

My background changed today to In Progress. I guess CIC is also working on the weekends. Im still counting on to what the officer told me back in October that I should have a decision by Nov. 30. Fingers Crossed
