I am also Sept 8 2015 applicant. I just got my GCMS report yesterday. It has 50 pages and on initial 6-7 pages it says criminality secuirty medical eligibilty passed. This is my second GCMS report previous one I ordered before medical but in this new report lot of things have changed I have applied trhu representative so cant chek the status. Didnt understand much since GCMS is coded but when I compared two report i was happy that I have seen many pages with "passed"

Does it it mean I am close?

Canada's next year quota for immigrants is 300K. Just keep yourself busy, and one day you'll be surprised. God bless you!

I am Oct 8 applicant. I receieved an email from CIC that there is an update couple days ago, but my background status still not needed at this time! why? :'(

This happen sometimes...just wait a couple of days to see if it change.
My cic account is not very well updated and/or syncronized with update emails.

same happen to many in other forums here including me!
i got an email to check update in my cic but no update and 2 weeks later it change on my cic.

Just want to share how to order GCMS notes since I got mine for free.

There are 2 options:
Privacy Act-FREE
Access to Information Act-$5

Here's the procedure:
1. Site: https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/ (not 3rd party)
2. Fill in the form, please see below the important items you need to know.
- Department, select IRCC
- To be eligible, select Individual/Corporation currently in Canada
- Complete all your Personal Information, please take note that all info
with * should be filled up and put N/A if not necessary.
- Requesting on your own behalf: Yes
- Category that best describe you: Member of the Public
- How would receive the requested record: E-mail
- Select Privacy Act, it is free Smiley
- Type of records: Case Files
- What type of record would you like to request, select Permanent Residence
- Which specific info are you looking for: The electronic notes of the immigration/citizenship officer

By the way, I received the requested record in 28 days.

Hello LuckyChamp when did they run your GCMS report? it should be on the bottom of each page. Given your security changed in progress on Oct 16 just want to check whether your GCMS was executed before Oct 16 and hence appears as Security not started in your GCMS. Thanks.

Have a question regarding Police certificates guys -

Pls feel free to point me to the correct thread if this has already been responded somewhere. I tried searching the whole day today but not being able to get it.

1. I need to apply for US police certificate as well (FBI thing) - they ask for fingerprints to be sent to them. Would anyone know whether they have any channeler that could be used in Singapore, I'm based in Singapore now. I searched their website, called few of their offices in Singapore but noone picked up.
2.These police authorities also ask for a letter from the requesting authority (CIC in this case). And FBI says that they will take 12-14 weeks to process which is much more than what CIC is going to give me to send the response to them (60 days). I haven't received the ITA yet but per my correspondence with the NSOI case officer, its expected in a week or two so I'm preparing in advance.

I applied on Oct 5 and I think it has processed on Oct 11

I did the same ....but I want to apply my for spouse .....anyone tried for their dependents ? please advice

All the dependents were included in our notes. Info was about everyone in the main application.
If you would like to get it just for the spouse put down their details and UCI number (like they would apply themselves). But you might as well get one for main applicant with dependents included.

This time I entered only her personal information while applying for it.
Hoping to receive it by Nov 18th. Applied on Oct 19
