I wish it works like that and no more delays :'( :-X :-X :-Xwaitingwaiting said:If this is true, then July and August Applicants should get their final decision/PPR by the end of this emonth.
And then September applicants will get their turn in November (according to ur CIC agent)
and i can hope then that October will get it in by late December.

Saeidrr, which was the length of you and yours and your friend Masters program?Saeidrr said:You're right Elnaz. They'd asked my brother's resume too when he was applying to US visa.
But my wonder is that we have already submitted our detailed resume once!
Thanks for sharing your experience. It is good to hear that they have asked it from other people too. By the way, did your background check status change to "in progress"? Or it is still "not needed"? Or did you have any other updates after submitting your resume?

It was a 2 year program (Master of Science). But I do not think it matters hereMalfeas13 said:Saeidrr, which was the length of you and yours and your friend Masters program?

Within a week I got a confirmation email for the reception of the documents. My background check is still "not needed".
I agree with you. We have already sent all this info to Ontario Gov. but it looks like the federal folks don't talk much with their provincial colleagues. Hopefully it won't delay our application much.
Malfeas13,
I don't think it has anything to do with the length of our studies (Mine was 4 years). I think it has something to do with the country of your citizenship. Middle easterners probably go through more security check.
