Background checks gone from not needed at this time to In progress for my friend.
September 3 2015 inland applicant.

** surprisingly no email from Cic saying there is a update on your file.
They just signed into my Cic and noticed the change.

Mine is still not needed at this time

not even june or july are getting PPR, not talking about August either. Dont get frustrated as I think sept applicants need to wait probably 2 months at least

Does anyone know how CIC notifies about approval or rejection or WP extension (Like by email or mail or any kind of correspondence)?

I have applied for WP extension thru representative in July. it's been 100 days already but I didn't hear anything from CIC about approval or rejection.

I got call from my representative this morning and he asked me ta check my email if I received any message from CIC.

Should I call CIC or wait for their response.

well, even last june applicants and july applicants might need unfortunately to keep waiting maybe one more month if they dont start working again.....

Yes they should, was that an online submission or paper based? you can check it online no matter whether it's a e-application or not as long as you create and acc on CIC and link the application.

yes I did paper based application. I tried to link but its not allowing to link, says no record found after I inserted all the information.

do you have an representative,same as me I try many times but still I cant link my application to my cic online account I have a representative.
