Hi All,

I have followed this post for over a year, and waiting on PPR as well. Sept Inland applicant PNP stream

For Anyone applying for BOWP just do it online, it is much faster and you don't have to stay in Canada shall an emergency happens.

I applied mine last July and took less than 40 days all together. The BOWP is valid for 1 year.

If you have a PNP paper base application with no restrictions on your nomination, they will issue an Open one. If there is restriction then Closed one.

Any ppr yet.Me still waiting med done july 11.med recieved on ecas.I can't link my apps in my cic account.Ive tried many times .I have an agent.

I did my medical on 12th sept.2016 but still their is no update on ecas. I called cic today in the morning and they are saying we havent recieved any reports for your file. I called doctor and they are saying we have uploaded on 17 sept 2016. Can anyone tell me what should i do now???

My case is also not updated in ECAS .... I did my medical on July 8th, and my spouse did July 19 in back home.....In my online account I linked my PR application and its updated and shows medical passed on July 23......I called CIC and they said it's for both you but still my ECAS not updated it takes time......check your online account

Hello guys, for those who applied with family members for PR (common law,spouse) were u able to link to mycic account your dependent's application? Or is it just one application for you and dependents?

I tried but failed to link ......so I think its just one application

You are absolutely right! CIC explains I made a mistake on my application and didn't submit employer compliance fee.. its my bad.. I was not aware of this because my 2 previous WP doesn't have that requirement. I also need to pay it myself some employers are not really paying that, in my case I don't want to bug my employer for this. however, The agent I spoke with indicated that I am not probably far from PR completion, but they cannot guarantee (ofcourse agent needs to play safe in saying things/infos). Advised to phone them again after a month for PR progress..

being said.. I have only 2 months left in my WP expiration date.. I am not going to re-new.. processing of WP extension 3-4months.. will just wait for the PPR. whatever happens, happens. tired of it.

Any thoughts?

Good Luck.....I got my PGWP in 2013 for 2.5 years instead of 3, reason....less validity of my passport then I put my PNP case with new 10 years of validity of my passport and my permit was open.....with no employer restriction and my case is PNP Master's Stream Program No Job Required......well instead of remaining extension of my PGWP in Jan 2016, I applied BOWP based on my PNP Nomination....Got the Permit for one year and Valid till Feb 17......have done my Medical on July 8th and waiting for the PPR with all other mates......I know we can apply 120 days before the permit expires but the processing time is shorter than before thus decided not to apply before the end of Dec and wait for the PPR because I hope we all will get it before.... Good Luck guys

request a credit report and see if you get a hard check. you should do it once a year

Does any one know how long it will take to get passport back. I have send mine on September 19 still waiting no updates yet. I am worried about it now. Should I contact Ottawa office or should I wait ???

Hey Friends i have a question,

I am waiting for the PPR like all others, October 2015 applicant.
My TRV has already been expired and my work permit is valid until MAY 2017.
I am bit scared of renewing my TRV at the moment because i think it may slow up my PR application processing...just a thought...is tht true ?
But on the other hand i am not sure if at the time of PPR (or landing though i am already in Canada...i mean i am talking abt the last stage of processing that PPR or after PPR...) will i must need to have a TRV on Passport or will it not matter ? I f it will require then i should better renew it now.

What is ur advice...??
