Hello, All

October 1st inland applicant here. Received MR on 04/Aug/2016 and Medical Shows passed on Aug/15/2016. BG check still not needed at this time

How long it will take to change it to in progress after Medical passed?

Thanks

Congratulations... In few days, we'll receive our MR as well...

No I didn't apply.
I thought of not applying just not to over load Cic officers.
Just thought If someone from similar timeline has got it then it must be pretty much same for me too I guess.

But I may order one if my BG is not starting even by Sep 9 2016.

Ok we are closer I am Sep 14

Yes I have noticed that we both have similar timeline and are inlands.
Is your BG still not needed at this time?

Hi All,

I am a November 19th applicant (PNP, Inland).
- I did an upfront Medical Exam in early July.
- My file at MyCIC shows "Medical Passed".
- Background Check "In Progress" has been changed to "Not Needed at this time".
- Last week I got an email requesting to link my application to MyCIC.
- ECAS shows "Medical results received".

I was wondering if it is safe to say that I will be getting the PPR before the end of the year. Please let me know your thoughts.

If the Express Entry can finalize the cases in less than ~6 months, and if CIC intends to speed up the processing of paper applications to reach their 2016 intake targets, is it not likely that the case processing efficiencies established by the Express Entry system will be utilized to speed up the paper applications processing time?

I hope we all get the PPR very soon.
Thank you.

I just have a question that do we get an update on Ecas when they send us medical request. And how many chances that we can get a medical email in junk folder. Please Reply.

Hi, i am sep 9 applicant. I linked my profile end of May 2016. Since then my bAckground check is not needed at this time. I don't know if it was changed from in process to not needed at this time.

I wonder when did you noticed that your file went to in process and how long it stayed as in process and when did it go back to not needed at this time.

Thanks in advance

Yes – we get an update on Ecas when they send us medical request
My Ecas emails never went to the junk mail but it does not hurt to keep an eye on your junk mail once in a while. If you previously got all your mail in your inbox, I wouldn't worry too too much.

I just set a rule in Google mail so that all email from .gc.ca will go to a special folder and gives me a notification

I linked my application to mycic account about 3 weeks ago. at that time there background check was in progress. when the medical results shows passed (from not needed at this time) then the background check was changed to not needed at this time.

Thanks for your reply. Oh it's nuc to see they are working on background checks.
Unfortunately I linked my application by end of May 2015 only. So I am not really sure if th y must have worked on my background checks by that time or not.
Currently, it says not needed at this time.

no, you wont get an update on ECAS during medical request, you will get update on ecas when you have done it, ECAS will changed to medical recieved, line 4, medical request are usually send via mails, not tru ECAS, now if you link your application, they will update it there, medical requested, thats my cic

Dear Bro,

On which e-mail they send for Medical Request in case the applicant has specified a "representative" in the application as well. Will they send the MR letter to the applicant, directly, or to the "Representative"???

Please guide!
