Hello everyone! Question: my WP expires in December. May I apply for an open work permit if my provincial nomination was sponsor by my current employer? I can totally do it, am I right? I don't have to go through the nomination process again right? THanks!

Hello everyone!

I have received AINP and planning to file application with Federal for Permanent Residency. I am in a confusion
regarding signatures on PR application and other forms. My current signatures are slightly different from the passport signatures which is 8 years old. is it a issue ? If so, please suggest me a solution for the same on urgent basis.

regards,

My good friend Druce all my prays to you tomorrow to pass the medical easily and get ppr all of waiting people very very soon to finish this long and difficult waiting :D :D :D :D :D
Thank you my friend!

I went for the medical and it was a breeze, truly, God was with us!

They did a very basic medical examination:
1) Checked our weights
2) Checked our lengths
3) Checked our throats
4) Listened to chest/breathing
5) Urine sample
6) Blood sample
7 Chest ex-ray

Was done and dusted in 2 hours time.

This is called a "host e-mail" and it is received when someone opened your file and made some comments or changes to it. It is good news as it shows your file is now being reviewed.

Check into your myCIC a couple of days later, you might get MR. If not, just wait it out my friend, they are busy with your file!

Sorry I have a question , I did my upfront the day before I got my MR from cic, the clinic told me they uploaded my result to cic on July 26, but now I still can't see " medical result received " on my application status, is that normal ? I'm really upset about that . I also submitted my information sheet from clinic to cic through special case enquiry . No response so far

Yes. If you want to get it just in case. I applied mine in Aug 2015 and got it in Jan 2016. You may apply for an open work permit but you might mostly get a close one with your current employer. Technically, you are fine if you were to stay and not travel outside of the country until you get your PR but if you are planning to do so. I'd say apply for a work permit. It takes about 5–6 months.

And no you don't have to go through the nomination process again for new work permit.

Good luck!

Hi Jackson, it takes a few weeks. In my case, i did medicals on july 12 and they were uploaded in MyCIC and ECAS last week on August 05, so don't worry give the 1 or 2 more weeks and they will appear in your account. Regards

Hi,
Just wondering if any September and October inland Paper based applicants has noticed any updates on background checks. Like any "in progress/change back to Not needed at this time".
