seems like our Oct applicants will get landing around the Jan 30 or mid of Feb.

That is a sad story.

Let us wait what CIC will work on next when they completed to finish the old cases.

URGENT:

Guys,

I'm an inland MPNP applicant and just sent package to CIC last week. I just noticed I didn't include copy of my post grad work permit in the package, however, I did include copy of all pages of my passport. I'm little confused with checklist now. Is copy of work permit required at CIC level? If so, what step should I take now?

Thank you very much.

They will return your application if you checked the check box in your checklist. because i did same thing i forgot to add my birth certificate, so they returned to me.

I did check this option, and I attached all copies of passport. Don't know if they need work permit as well in this option.

"Travel documents and passports

Copy of the pages of your passport or travel documents for you, your spouse or common-law partner and your

dependent children, showing:

• the passport number,

• date of issue and expiry,

• the photo, name, date and place of birth,

• pages showing any amendments in name, date of birth, expiration, etc.

You must hold a valid regular passport. Diplomatic, official, service or public affairs passports are not valid for

immigration to Canada.

If you live in a country other than your country of nationality, include a photocopy of your visa for the country in

which you currently live."

Some officers are nice, they will just send you a letter to send additional docs. But in most cases, they will return it you with a letter telling you what you should do and how to send it back to them.

Thanks for the response. Can I mail work permit now? I don't want my file to be rejected because of missing work permit later on.

Dear Druce,

Please do let us know as well. I will be waiting of yours update. definitely CIC is too slow to wait.
I went to my Local Visa Office yesterday to see them in person. They allow this only on the first Tuesday of each month. They only open at 08:00 am but I was told to be there earlier on another forum as there are a lot of people enquiring on their files. I arrived there 06:15 am, was third in line and by 08:00am ther were +- 40 people in line.

I went in 08:00 am. They checked on the online system first and then pulled my original file to show me they received my original PCC's. The consultant said I will receive MR within a week or two. I then asked how long after medicals for PPR, she said between a couple of weeks or a month.

I am so excited that my file is finally moving into the right direction ;D :D 8)

Great Bro,

If you have a UCI number, and you must, send a copy of your WP ASAP with a cover page mentioning your UCI/DOB/Passport No to them. Then call CIC agent and request him to tag that with your application.
