Assuming you have a valid WP now, once your TRV is in the mail, you're in implied and you can work until TRV has a decision.

this is correct.. however you can only work with the same company as it is on your old work permit. and you need to re-new your work permit as well. so while waiting for new work permit and TRV you are considered "implied status"

You mean I can apply for work permit extension and TRV together?

Correct me if I am wrong here please. What I understood is, apply for workpermit extension and at the same time apply for TRV. And any one out of two is rejected (say WP is rejected) and 2nd one (Say TRV's decision is pending) is still pending on decision, I can still be on implied status, right?

I might be wrong but, IF your work permit gets rejected on implied status then you won't be able to work. TRV is basically a re-entry document incase you leave the country.

Since you were talking about doing Upfront medical, why can't you apply for BOWP with AOR ? Sorry if you already answered somewhere about it.

:o No MR?
Seems like no more hope on Fridays.
I hope it won't be too long after MR pass to PPR.

I think it's stuck with 1st week August 2015 - paper based Inland. May be I am wrong ! Any updates friends?

reason why cant i apply for BOWP with AOR and Provincial Nomination Worpermit Support letter is that I have restriction on my nomination. And for BOWP the nomination must be restriction free.

Hi everyone,

I am thinking to apply for GCMS notes today. Can anyone suggest me if do so or not.

Is it gonna have any negative impressions on me or on my file?

There are many different opinions on this subject. Some say it delays your application as they need to compose everything and send it you. Others say it gets done by another party than CIC so it can not delay your application.

My advice, only order it when necessary. I mean, I ordered mine in March and did not learn anything from it, complete waste of time and $5 :P

I will however order again if I do not get any feedback from CIC in the next 3-4 months, then my application will be 12 months.
