But in the email, it also says:

"IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

- MEDICALS: You and your dependents are required to be medically examined, if you did not do so already, please visit the office of a Panel Physician to undertake your medical examination as soon as possible. Please refer to the following link for additional information: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-perm.asp"

Is that mean I should do medical exam now? the same time as Provide updated Schedule A?

I have got same reminder email as well then i called cic and agent told me do not do medical unless it's requested by cic. I would just wait for their request.

Thanks.

Hello, All

I have got email last week from cic asking birth certificate(original) for my wife.

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for the processing of your application to continue, the following document(s) are required:

> Birth registration/certificate: We have received a copy of the translation of your birth certificate. Please provide a copy of your original birth certificate.
This must be received at this office by: 2016/07/16
Please note:
 If your documents are not in French or English, a certified (notarized) translation must be submitted with a copy of the original version.
 Original Police Certificate – For additional information on how to obtain your Police Certificate please go to: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/index.asp
When sending your documents via the Case Specific Enquiry, you must provide a scan of the original document. We do not accept copies scanned by notaries.
2
 Original Language Tests - When sending your documents via the Case Specific Enquiry, you must provide a scan of the original document. We do not accept copies scanned by notaries.
The above information/documents must be received in our office within 30 days from the date of this letter. Please reply promptly with requested information to avoid any further delay. Any documentation or correspondence you send should include your UCI and Application number as indicated at the top of this letter.

I am confused now. Are they asking for police certificate as well or its just a note? please advise.

Thank You

From what I understand you gave them a copy of the translated birth certificate (for example hindi to english). They need a copy of the original birth certificate.

Sorry if am wrong. Others please confirm.

Please did you send medical sheet that doctor gave you to cic or the doctor sent your results through the system.

I got the same question. I did the upfront too, but not sure if I should attach the sheet through cic system or wait until the medical request email.

I did not sent the sheet to system and my doctor sent the file to CIC. and my CIC record shows MR received.

In my case I sent the sheet that doctor gave me to CIC through case specific inquiry. This update came after about two weeks. I first saw medicals passed on mycic that I linked to my paper application two days ago.Good luck to us.
