Not sure but I believe it’s take 2-3 weeks ,,
Can't really guess... my bg in process since September 20 nothing yet... it's 7th week going on for bg in process... and 18th month for application in process still no sign of dm or ppr... may 16 applicant..

4-5 weeks ago call centre agent told me we took action. In that action today I got this reply from officer :

Good Afternoon:

Bring, Jaspreet Kaur


This email is in response to an inquiry via the Call Centre requesting the status of this application.



Application is undergoing processing.

Notification will be sent in due course.

I think they are trying to make us look like fools. Other than this what's the meaning of this response from them ?
 
Bridging permit is always open and that is what i was advised by CIC agents.. I checked with the call center and that is what they asked me to do..

In this case CIC agent gave you wrong info. If your PNP is employee restricted then, you are not eligible to apply under bridge work permit. Its in the CIC website. You have to apply for a closed work permit. Means you can only work for the current employee till you get the PR. As @manuuu said the employer need to pay some fees and fill some forms (to do this, company should create a Mycic account under your company name and apply within). After paying the fees and submitting the forms your company will get a 7 digit number (with in one day). After that, with this 7 digit number, either you can apply online or go to a boarder service agent and apply for close work permit.

This is what my friend did to extend his work permit.

Apply the ee if u can. Without a pr everyone just judge u. I got a lot discriminate alike feeling from ppl at work when they figure out I'm not canadian. I got job here truck house. I wanna move bacj home country because of no respect from cic but I can't because of my possession. Greedy kills me and I feel bad for my family.

Well do you think applicants from certain country tend to have longer BG in progress time? I heard so from a friend so I'm here to spread the rumour.
 
Question, have anyone submitted case specific inquiry through IRCC Webform recently to ask for updates? I kept getting the following message without any actual reply.
