what's the next step? is the Background check change to ' in process'? Are u sure the next step is PPR? just wait for 2-3 weeks only?

Did you apply for any depended member or wife? CIC received my application on April 14, 2016 but no update since Paid for RPRF.

I have my wife's application outland but I am inland in one application. We did not do up front medical. Still waiting for medical request.

Did you do upfront medical?

do not worry , as this is the Normal Process , instead of that you have feel relax ,

Now you are only one step away from PPR
so keep waiting for another 2 - 3 weeks (Max.) and you will get what you want

Note : - For me It is the same thing.

My medical passed on 27th december 2016 still nothing so i don't know how much takes time? Any idea?

Yes i did added my wife file in the mid of processing. Once i added her file they sent me MR and she already done her medicals since she traveled to Canada in visitor visa to accompany me. So there is no need for us to do upfront medicals.
