May 18 applicant here.

I just checked my status online and my background check is changed to "Not needed at this time". I've already paid my RPRF fees.

Not sure what it means but I hope it's a progress.

I did my Upfront Medical October 03, 2016...
RCMP certified criminal background check based on fingerprints asked...will submit on NOV 23...
I submitted my updated Schedule A and Upfront Medical copy from the Clinic NOV 11 via Case Specific Inquiry...
Now waiting for the confirmation that they receive it...

Is there someone out there have the same timeline?or somewhat same scenario? Any March applicant got an MR already?

That's a normal process. Your next request will be medicals and may be police clearance. Afterwards, when your file is being finalized, your background will change again to "in progress ". After some weeks of " background in progress", you will get PPR. At the pace that CIC is working now, you are at least five months from PPR.

1. Are you required to submit other supporting documents like POF, Reference Letters, Educational Certificates ets in addition to the required PNP Checklist when you submitted your Paper Application to CIC Sydney, or just the checklist alone?

2. Is upfront medicals acceptable as Nomination letter says Do not do medicals till you are told to.

All needed is the checklist requirement and not advisable to do upfront medical. It is acceptable to do upfront medical but it doesn't speed the processing time

Just follow the PNC section on the checklist, you do not have to include other unnecessary documents. here is the link to complete guide for PNP PR.

SOS guys! Can anybody please explain me a situation on MY CIC account.

My medical shows REVIEW IN PROGRESS since 21 of October. And my background shows REVIEW IN PROGRESS as well, it was not changed till now. So, there is a question - Why background still shows In Progress? I got the AOR on 5 of May. Is any way that they did a mistake and have just forgotten to change this background?

I have already ordered the GCMS notes. I hope I will see any notice that I passed my criminality.

Does anyone have same situation on MY CIC?

May i suggest if you can check your application status using CAS tool...maybe theres a different update there...
Just try it...
And double check your email, maybe they sent you already MR, and you just overlook it...remember, they were giving us only 30 days to accomplish it..
Hope my suggestion can help.

Nope.....

There are no emails. I check my email everyday.

I just checked ECAS. It says following:

We received your application for permanent residence on April 1, 2016.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on May 5, 2016.
We started processing your application on May 6, 2016.

I been noticing that processing of 2016 applicants are faster then the 2015 applicants or its only me who is having such slow processing.
