Hi guys,

Hope someone can answer my queries below:

I am preparing my paper based application. I have some doubts on the following

1. Passport copy, should we include all pages with stamps or just the pages that was asked in the check list (page shows your details and visa/permit if you are not in country of origin). I asked because CIC is asking for our travels within 10 years (including vacation) and I have already changed passport 3 times within this span. So not sure if I should include my old passport as well.

2. Police certificate, should i wait for my pcc (will take 1 - 2 months) or send it later. If i send it later, what will i include in the package to indicate that the document is addendum to the application sent previously?

3. Other supporting documents, Document Checklist does not mention other supporting documents that we submitted to PNP such as ECA report, proof of funds. Are they not needed?

Thanks for the answer.

1. Passport: just the pages in the check list. Stamps are not needed, nor older passports.
2. You should wait for your police certificate, otherwise your application could be returned as incomplete.
3. Other documents are not needed. Just stick strictly to the checklist and good luck!

Hi acetone

dnl21 has answered already all of your questions. I would like to make an addition. You can submit your application without PCC if you can submit the receipt of acknowledgement of the authority where you applied for PCC with full application package . in a later stage, when you will be asked for medicals and RPRF fee, you can add your PCC with those docs. But the point you should note here, validity of PCC is around 3 months for some countries. so this situation may arise that you are waiting with your pcc in hand but MR does not come within 3 months of time (in fact candidates are now receiving their aor after 3 months). Then chances are, you have to apply for PCC again. So choose your option wisely.

If u r working in NOC 0, A, B and you r PGWP holder. Then you can apply for work permit for your spouse. What permit currently u r in?

I have unskilled work permit, but this is from official site:
Spouses or common-law partners of work permit holders who have been nominated for permanent residence by a province are entitled to open work permits for the duration of the work permit of the provincial nominee principal applicant, irrespective of the skill level of the principal applicant’s occupation

no update from this thread for few days. Candidates who had received AOR in July, did you get your MR request?
