You could check your tracking details if the application was sent by courier providing proof of delivery. The other option is to link your application to your CIC account, which seems not to be working to all of the applicants yet even though AORs have been issued. There are some possibility they have received your application and started working on it even if you don't seem to link your application.

My application was received on May 27 and no AOR yet.. Quite luckily, I was able to link my application to the CIC account yesterday.. which means they had received my application which has not been returned to me.

I trying every day linking my application but without success. I send my paper based by mail to NS in June 16th. I am worried about it.
Someone received AOR and not could link application too?
Is it possible it not received by CIC ?????

Yes, I have seen two or three posts indicating the applications don't seem to be linked. So do not worry too much if you can get your tracking information for the courier you sent.
Otherwise, I would recommend you call the CIC to find out if the application was returned. They would at least tell you if they have it or not.

It's a good thing you were able to link your application. Please remember that while you have a temporary file number (XEP) your application is in line to be verified.
After they have verified that everything is in order, they will issue the AOR and change the "XEP" to an "EP".
I was able to link mine just two days after they received it but no AOR and, according to CIC, if an AOR is not issued it is as if no application has been submitted.

It has been 78 days since they have received my file ( May 24, 2016) with one dependent - Inland

No AOR yet. I linked my application online, showing XEP number with status OPEN.

Should I call CIC ?

Is there still a possibility that my application can be returned without AOR ?

Thanks for your kind explanation. I phoned them to see if there is any possibility of my application being returned as of today but they said they have the application for now. They did not want to tell me if they have it or not but I was kinda begging as my WP will expire in 8 days so I need to find a way to extend it. And the agent thankfully let me know the application is with them adding that it usually takes 18 weeks to get AOR.

18 Weeks is a lot longer than the average I have seen in this forum.

So, all the outlands are getting AOR after May 20 time line.

I have applied in MPNP-SW category.. i have filled EOI on june 17, 2016,
received LAA by 18th draw on june 29, 2016.
i have got AOR on Aug 03, 2016.
Now application status is received.. waiting it for change to Assessment Pending
