Hi Hanaa7

Normally, CIC would post back your documents to you using the self addressed enveloped you added to your application. One thing though, how did you link your application to your CIC account when you don,t have an AOR/file number?
here's how i did
Hi all!

Here's one way to check the status of your CIC application.

1. Go to this link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/mycic.asp

2. Click (Continue GCKey) blue tab ---- this is the one i used.

3. Sign Up

4. Select (Link the existing account)

5. Enter all required info

6. For English Test detail, use the following if you don't have the info handy:

Test: None
Test ID: 000
Test Date: CIC application received date

Thanks Hanaa7. Anyways, I did that last week using my UCI number. I didn't realize there was an option for an applicant to check the status of his/her application without a UCI/application number. It feels good to learn something new ;D

All the best!

Hi Reddystar,

I have the same status. I don't think CIC will send an applicant an email for a BG check.

All the best to us!

Hi ashuindian,

Thank you for letting us know that AOR can be received within 3 months. Please also note that, there are many candidate in this forum who has received their AOR after a month. So if we hope, we will receive our AOR after a month, nothing is wrong in that. After all to ourselves we all are special, and we all want our application process to complete at earliest time. GOD bless us.

Ha ha ha, actually I am a very unlucky person. U guys can expect for one month ( and my best wishes too). But, in my case, if they allot in 3 months, then I will get it in 4 months.

Hi hanaa7, if this works for you, they must sent a email with this subject: "Application number (EP00XXXXXX) has been linked to your account." so this application number (EP00XXXXXX) is sent you with the AOR.

I think is possible somethink happend with you AOR email. Try to check on ecas with the number EP00XXXXXX.

I have 2 last name, on ecas I filled with both lastnames, this worked for me.

I think you will receive soon your AOR and your application is going to change to: in process. The application is in process when they send you the AOR.
