Can anyone help. i am not able to see my application status in mycic after AOR. i have attached my application before getting AOR. But after AOR i am not able to check the status in mycic.

When linking the application by using "1" on no. Of family members will it affect the process of application. We are three in the family.

Don't worry. same thing happened to me as well. I had to wait for more than a month after receiving AOR to check application status in mycic. Before AOR, I could access application status perfectly. after AOR, no status were found for the same application. When my file was transferred to SGVO from CIC, and SGVO did some initialization work on my file, I was able to check again my application status.

I received my police clearance from ,Dubai and Qatar, I will attached or wait until their feed back .

I received my AOR - Aug. 9

just want to ask if how long would it take for them to ask for my police clearance.?? because i did not pass it together with the paper app.

Hello everyone,

I applied for PR after my AINP nomination.
I was nominated under Engineering category.
File received by CIC on June 13, 2016.
Received my AOR on Spet 23, 2016.

My question is:
Can i change my job which doesn't fall under Engineering category? Or do I have to stick to those particular NOCs that are under Engineering category only?

Hi brar20,
Take a look at your work permit, particularly where it says "Occupation" and "Remarks".
If there are no restriction, you can pursue whatever job you would like.
