There must be something missing in your forms, may be it's only a missing signature.
Not all is lost, you have another chance to complete everything and send it back again.
Don't wait for the returned application to start collecting your documents and forms again. Start doing it now and you'll save a lot of time.
When you receive the returned application you'll already have your new one prepared, so just check those points that they've highlighted as missing.
You'll be back here in no time.

Hi Guys, a new one here. I know that this forum is for APRIL, MAY, JUNE, PR processing. I just submitted mine last August 18, 2016 and I havent receive an application number from CIC. Im a little doubtful if I submitted all the necessary document, I followed the instruction and the checklist I got from www .cic. gc. ca especially with the payment form. according to what I read, if i dont want to pay online i can use a credit card right??? I fill up the form, put my credit card information (name, credit card number, expiration date, signature) and include it in my application. the 550 ca dollars is not yet deducted on my available balance up to now. please help me if its correct. thank you for your response in advance.

file number received: march 16, 2014
nomination from MPNP via email: july 2016
PR application submitted via courier (philippines to canada)-august 18, 2016 (received)
application number: no update up to now

Friends I am very :'( :'( :'(Sad. My Paper based got delivered on 24 June at Sydney. Today I checked my Linked application status, my Application No. has changed to EP00230......., starting X omitted. And in "Details" section New message appears "Cancelled as Incomplete" in place of "Open". What can I do?

Hi, friend. I saw you post application on 01/06 and got AOR on 08/09, and you have registerd online account and linked your paper application last month. Your situation similar as me. now I am still waiting for my AOR. May I ask whether you have received AOR notification email and what UNIT send it? Thanks.

My wife didn't have a surname in all her documents before marriage, after marriage she added my surname which is also on her latest passport now, I believe this amounts to name change.


First Name Last Name(Surname)

Before Marriage Swara Preet
After Marriage Swara Preet Singh

So, I am trying to marking this in online PR application which opens another field to mention her previous name, since she didn't have surname which was the only difference. I tried it but it doesn't let me progress with surname blank.How can I get over this?

CIC is showing a required document for this change, I believe it would require an notorized affidavit, please share your experience.
