haha I would fire the guy in charge of the PNP PR in the Immigration office first thing if I got their boss's jobNope. You know those people
I would hold a session and told those officers how much those pnp applicants have suffered from their sh*tty jobs, unreasonable boss and that how much pain we have to go through being away from our families and friends. Like seriously have some hearts and stop taking your sweetass time!!! Hurry up people are waiting!!haha I would fire the guy in charge of the PNP PR in the Immigration office first thing if I got their boss's job
oh tell me about it. Some of them are just plain rude. This guy even asked me with some attitude when's the last time you called us, what did we tell you, what do you see on your online profile blah blah blah ? I'm like hey a**hole, i pay tax to pay you to do your job properly. you guys can't even handle the immigration issue in a sensible way, should i give you a lesson right now lol .I called yesterday to their call center. The guy on the phone says, 17 months is nothing. Remember you are getting an immigration done, not a cookie.
I still maintained my calmness, but in my mind I was think like I've been here for more than 7 years, paid international student fees, god knows how many work permit fees, taxes from the last six years and so I think I've already done enough to bake the cookie...
WOW seriously? That guy doesn't have a heart I guess. I wish some day in the future he will get a chance to experience something like this and we will see how patient he is to get his "cookies"I called yesterday to their call center. Same here. The lady asked me a bunch of questions like when was your last time called in, what did we tell you, did you ever hear anything from your representative blablabla for like 5 mins before realizing that she indeed need to give me an update. And when I told her I don't know my reprsentative's email or phone# but I do can provide my personal ones, she gave me this big lesson saying that I should always communicate with my representative blablabla......oh tell me about it. Some of them are just plain rude. This guy even asked me with some attitude when's the last time you called us, what did we tell you, what do you see on your online profile blah blah blah ? We shouldn't be the ones that kept waiting. Seriously we are the ones paying taxes and get this society going!!!Yeah exactly. These guys don't understand how much we are going through and how desperately we want to have that piece of mind of getting our PR. Yes, we moved to another country and I have no problems with being entitled to scrutiny because of it. But look at how much we have done compared to folks who have this privilege and yet claim $$ from the govt to drink Coors light in their basement.
Tired of waiting me too May 12 2016 applicant still nothing no dm no ppr hoping before end of 2017Man everytime check status and listen to automated system it says if we need more information or final decision have been made we will contact you....don’t know when this whole thing will end.... really annoying....
Everytime I listen to that status if we need more information or if final decision have been made .... i feel to break my phone....Tired of waiting me too May 12 2016 applicant still nothing no dm no ppr hoping before end of 2017
Hi, I applied 15 days before my wp expires and they processed my applicacion in 33 days! (Applied on oct 12) I was thinking withdraw my application, because I received PPR on nov 7... and yesterday (nov 14) I received the work permit approval... so do not trust the processing time! You need to be on implied status till you do your landing. That means that even if you get your PPR today, you still have to consider the time it will take to send your passport to Ottawa, get it stamped, have it returned to you and do your landing. My guess is it will take you more than 2 weeks for that.
My advise, apply for an extension of your work permit now. The good news is that there is a 70-day delay for work permit processing so it is likely you will become PR before your work permit gets processed, which mean you can withdraw it (the work permit) and get a refund back.
