Really need help. My cic account said "Review of additional documents - We need more documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details."

But I didn't receive any emails yet. It has been 2 months. Anyone else have same message showing? May 30th applicant. Really worried about it.

New passport came in today

So i have 9 months left on old passport

I checked PPR letters on google and it says passport should be valid a year from date of letter. I know in order to land u have to have at least 6 months

What are your thoughts? Do i need to upload new passport? both passports are valid

They say passport should be valid for at least 6 months. Also, it is good that passport is valid for at least 6months when entering country

did you request your GCMS notes? if you did and they had asked to re-fill the forms, you can get that message. It happened in my case. You can ask the IRCC agent.

I'm guessing majority of people who got DM recently on ECAS still has "background check in progress" status in GCKey?

yes, background will stay in process until your COPR is printed and the application officially approved.

Same case in my gckey we are reviewing your addtl docs but cic never request addtl docs o update message that they are requesting any documents its more than 3 months waiting for ppr
