I just call CIc and the nice lady told me that everything was completed and is currently in the final processing queue awaiting finalization. Anyone know how long it could take ? Or is just the standard response

Same for me called them yesterday

I am May 20, 2016 applicant. My background online says N/A but I called CIC and she said that my file has been transferred to Ottawa and my background is in process.

May 20 applicant too. Called CIC yesterday and they told me my background check is not even started yet...WHAT THE HELL

since aug I'm 24th March 2016 applicant.
I ve got my Gcms on 16th Sep. It says PACE since 22th Aug that day was my bg went to in progress then when i was waiting i called cic 2 times(last Monday and yesterday) and got mailed(3 weeks ago) from Ottawa they said like that

Same situations, I got email from Ottawa they told me currently in their office but don't know when ready for finalised 3 weeks ago, today CIC told me is queue waiting, no different

Sure you can hope, but realistically, I would say no

Read through the posts by fellow applicants on their timelines, let that sink in a little and have a more realistic expectation of when you will receive PPR.

My Background went in process on 23rd August.

I just called CIC and was informed that I was approved today, neither ECAS nor CIC website are showing any change, give them a call maybe it will be your lucky day too.
