I added my wife last month because that's when I got married. I could apply for express entry now, but that'd be another $3000 which I don't want to pay if I don't have to.

Yeah, she's here on a visitor status. We submitted her upfront medical and are in the process of obtaining police clearance and marriage certificate. We thought we'd get the process started to add her name and then send these two docs right when we get them.

We tried our best to provide everything we could upfront so that it doesn't cause undue delay. We'll see how that goes. All we can do is pray and hope for the best now.

well I think in that case they are just checking everything if your marriage is not a fraud as what happened to my sister and her husband..but it will be done just need more time...patience is what we all need...

you have to apply online or paper..but online is easy just go to your cic account and do it from there..you need to do eligibility questionnaire and you will get checklist from there..

i have done eligibility questionnaire and then i got IMM5708E is this correct ?

AT MPNP : Submitted - 5th March 2016. Nomination: 14th June 2016 AT CIC: Received 13th July 2016, CC charged:1st October 2016 AOR: 25th October 2016. ADR/RPRF Request: 30th November, 2016. Upfront medical: 14th August 2017. Medical Passed: 1st September, 2017. Background is still N/A.. I am keeping hope alive though because I really want to travel home for Christmas and my work permit expires in November. I can't get a new work permit in time to travel home for Christmas. Hoping to get COPR before then.
