Guyz need your suggestions:
I am May 09,2016 applicant, waiting for PPR and background check is still Not Applicable.
My bridging open work permit is expiring on December 5,2017. Should i apply now for work permit extension or should i wait for sometime? I am confused.

Hey, i have same situation here. May 12th applicant, BOWP will expire on october 19. I will wait till october 10 if i don't get PPR by then, then after i will submit application for another BOWP.

anyone had to change passport while waiting for PPR? If so, what's the procedure after obtaining new passport?

I have updated new passport for my husband in June while waiting for ppr. I attached a scanned copy of his new passport and submited it on web form. I got respond that my additional info has been forward to visa office in July. By the way I am April 4 applicant and still waiting for PPR.

It takes 80 days to renew your BOWP. If you like spending 70 days in Canada with expired SIN, expired driver license, health card, etc. then dont apply right away! If you're working your employer will start chasing you to give them your renewed work permit at its best. Don't wait.
