Guys,
How does the passport request email look like? What should I prepare for passport requests?
I'm early Aug 2015 applicant, and haven't received the passport request yet, but want to prepare in advance so I can send my passport to cic asap after receiving the pr email.

You don't need to do any preparation in advance. As far as I know, they'll ask you to privide information if there is any changes like marriage or child or something like that + 2 passport size photos and the form that you'll receive in the email. Hope this helps.

thank you Kash

Hi guys.

I would like to ask those of you who got PR many weeks ago, how long did it take you to get your PR cards??

I have finally bought my tickets to travel for vacation and I am leaving on December 25th. I really hope I get my pr cards before that day.... if they follow processing times I should get it by December 12th....so I have 10 days gap just in case....

I landed on oct 18th and my pr card came today.
I cant believe there are still june applicants waiting for PPR.
It is unbearable...........

Stvan,
With your job offer did u sign a contract? Would u be able to check how long and when it expires?

Hey guys,

I have received an email from centralized-intake-office@cic.gc.ca. It started with, "this is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for the processing of your application to continue, the following document(s) are required".

Then it went on to explain that I need to redo IMM5669 for me and my wife (said what sections we got wrong) and to submit our criminal record checks (for me from Canada and for my wife from her country of origin). I rewrote IMM5669 for me and my wife and submitted it via case specific enquiry. Then we received our criminal record checks and I decided to scan them too and submitted them via case specific enquiry as well. I am wondering, is it okay that I have provided the criminal record checks electronically? Does it have to be submitted by mail?

Thanks.
