travel back and forth to USA without PR card VIA LAND ONLY! not through airport. For any other entry to canada, if we dont have a PR card, we will need a PR Travel Document, which can only be obtained from a visa office outside Canada.

@87arq: the border agent specifically told me "expect delays in your PR card".

I know, that's what I had read before. But this is funny. I asked border agent and you know? He told me that I could travel without any problem. Basically he said '' You can travel to Canada with your spanish passport right? So you can travel without any problem. At the border we have all your information and we can check your status in Canada''. I told him ''But I have read that you need your PR card to travel'' and He told me again that. In a way he is right. If you are from a Visa Exempt Country, you can travel to Canada without any issues.....I can travel without Visa so I dont really need an authorization to fly....I think the biggest problem is for people from countries that require to obtain a visa before traveling to Canada.

Anyway, my friend is flying tonight so we will see how it goes.

I think it is not matter of pushing the files.
It seems like to me time has just come.
I strongly believe the next should be your turn for PPR.
And you become a PR before november.

Hello Everyone!

Hope you all are doing great and congratz to all who got PPR. I am keep looking in this forum as daily basis. I am August 2015 applicant and waiting for PPR.

I have a question if someone can answer that will be much appreciated. I got lay off before 2 weeks and looking for job now. My PNP has no restriction on employment. Do you guys think that there will be any problem about my application or PPR.......
Waiting for some good response ..

Good luck to all of us :)

AINP requires all the candidates to keep working until they get their PR.

When my application had was 15 month, I made an appointment to meet MP to ask help.
However, later MP told me my application was passed, just to wait for review, also he told me that we will receive my PPr near 17 month.
When my application had was 16 months, I called the MP again, he called cic and told me, just wait, so nearly to my turn, he said if you couldn't receive your ppt in 2 weeks, you call me again. A week passed i finally have received my Ppr. I really took the long journey, so I praise that all of guys will receive ppr soon.
