does anyone know if i can enter Canada by showing my Work Permit even though i have a PR status?

I already received a PR stamp in my passport - but not the actual PR card, without which i cannot enter Canada.

HI I have friends who quite job right after his MPNP and he applied for PR. He also mentioned in application about unemployment. Then after he went outside of country to for two times and still he got his PR. So i Believe work is not much imp after AINP. However, if you quite job then i would say don't tell anybody about it. Be quite and get your PR first.

If you have a PR visa and have not landed yet, then yes, you can enter, PR visa is given to you for the purpose of entering Canada. Having a work permit does not authorize entry to Canada, you need a visa for that, which I assume you have.

If you have already landed and got your PR status then you would need a PR card or a travel document to re-enter. Your PR visa was only good for a single entry and your work permit is not valid anymore in that case anyway.

I agree.
For my case, the officer at the border had taken my existing work permit away at the landing.
So for me there is no such an option like that.
I dont think you can make an entry to canada with old work permit after getting PR status.
