anyone can share their passport return timeline?
Mine has been received last Friday morning but return mail tracking number still cannot be found :-[
 
Mine (just photocopy) was delivered on Monday. Usual turn around is 2-3 weeks before we can get it back.

Canada Post still can't trace your passpprt?
Did you send an email to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca regarding your situation?

I read in other threads, they usually refund and pay the cost of the missing item.

Here's my timeline:
Sept. 14, 2016 - Passport sent to Ottawa
Sept. 16, 2016 - CPC received
Sept. 28, 2016 - MyCIC account updated (Application: Closed Final Decision: This application has been approved)
Sept. 30, 2016 - Return tracker activated
Oct. 3, 2016 - Passport with Visa stamped and CoPR received

omg still lost your papers?

1st contact cic and show them the receipt that u sent your passport and explain them what happen and that u r following up with them.
or maybe in the call centre can help you telling if the received passport or not!

go in person to canada post and explain them, ask to talkt to a supervisor, if he/she cant help you, ask how to contact a regional manager as its very important docs not only papers is a passport an identity document. be very strict with them...is their responsibility to find your package!!!

i read in past post people say 3 to 4 weeks to get passport back

Today I send enquiry via case specific enquiry about my passport. I did asked them if they received my passport or not? also explained whats happened with Canada post. now waiting reply from CPC

I mean did you send directly to CPC email address?
I read from the Final Request email you can send directly to the said address if you will not be able to send your passport within the 30 days timeframe.

thanks mdh Canada post is investigating in this matter and also i send email to CPC if they received my passport. lets see.. soo scary buddy

good luck i really hope all is fixed cause must be frustrating after all the wait to happen this.
