Got an email from them early April to update my Schedule A.

I think thats what caused the delays.
Yes that is most likely to be the reason of delay. Your file goes back in the que. I am April applicant. I got request twice. PCC for my dependent and then for me..at a gap of about 2 months. They could have asked for both together. Or I should have been proactive to send for both.

Hi guys!

Re: For missing or requested documents, each time that they request something that is missing from your file it take up to 3 months queing time, if you got requested 2 times ur processing will take longer. They are very strict when it comes to complete package. So if u have those documents have it handy and ready before u file on ur on, and if u have extra money might as well include ur right of permanent residence fee/ landing fee included in ur payment. And right now they are trying to link all application with MyCIC to irradicate the paper application sooner. And would be easy communication. Just be careful tho if u missed a message and went to junk mail or forgot password could be the reason of refusal. Forgot password means lossing over all access to your file.
Every missing documents/ requested is 3 months waiting time for them to go back with ur file. So be careful.

Normally they issued my first work permit for two years so i just put it another two years from the date of expiry

Is that a rule at CiC or just a rumor?

Every time they requested documents, my file dropped back 3 month?

I submitted everything to CIC they requested that time, and after a few month I had medical request and some more documents like PCCs. I could only submit my US PCC in July because of the bloody FBI being really slow, so that means they won`t even touch my application till September/October ( July + 3 month ) ?

I really hope you are not right! >:( :)

Also, my processing time reaches 15 month in September as I`m a 2015 June inland applicant. And after 15 month we can rush them to finish everything.

Honestly, the introduction of Express Entry screwed over old applicants as IRCC pooling resources to meet the committed 6 month processing time for EE.

Mean while the paper application moving at snail pace. Used to only took just over year for PNP + PR. Now it's like 2 years + and you'd be lucky to get any movement.

Do we need 2 passport sized photographs to bring with us for landing?

Can anyone answer this?

Also, do we both have to appear at "landing" or just the main applicant? I will have to visit a CIC office to land.

He's right! I have experienced that.

I just have a question that do we get an update on Ecas when they send us medical request. And how many chances that we can get a medical email in junk folder. Please Reply.

Always principal applicant has to land first (with or without family members). Family members can join the principal applicant during the first time or can travel after his/her landing only.
Photos: you need to send while ppr stage not at landing.

What we saw from earlier posts was delay from some applicants but not for all. Actually for some it was quicker than who did not receive addl docs. But delayed for some. So it all depends on officer assigned. Now all applications being delayed hence dont know how they adjudicate the addl docs requested applications.
But there is no 3 months or 2 months time as far as i know. They mostly had review time of a year or so and they come back to the application now and then.

Yes its true, chances of getting open againfor review after 3 months, there is in the news immigration update sometime last quarter last yr. Immigration consultant have appeal with the Ircc, people are sending the documents needed as fast as they could thru online but they wont open it after 3 months the fact that it was already submitted online that would be easy to go back.
Yes its true. Define as immigration flaws.
