I've applied on 22 April 2015, background check started on 17 Jun 2016
my application process was a bit delayed because of the medical, though I'm still not that hopeless I just keep an eye for it every once in a while
I am April 10 applicant. GCMS notes say all passed. After 15 months got in touch with the local MP. The MP office sent an enquiry and emailed to me that all is passed and it will be done by the end of Aug. Earlier on I had called CIC call centre and the agent looked into my file and said 'I don't think it's going to take much time'. Got to wait until Aug end though I wonder why they said Aug end. Probably the staff is on vacation. Sending PPR mails would only work if they have sufficient staff to stamp visas and dispatch passports back.

hello all
i have a question, actually i already got PR card two month ago, but the online system still showing decision made? has anyone in the same boat?

I can only see medical received since I have applied pnp with an agent.
I dont know how my applicantion is being processed right now.

I think you can link it to your mycic although you case was through agent, a couple of methods were mentioned by members in this forum or this post. you need to try different value for ielts score and your passport info. It does work for me.

Cic employee are on vacations, no one has time to close it. so just relax and enjoy your free days!

Just got my PR card, finally the whole process ends. Landed on 21st June. Took only 49 days.

To all the applicants still waiting for their PPR (surprised to see that some June applicants are still waiting and Mishti hope you get yours soon, it's been bloody long for you, I admire your patience), wish you all the best.

Inland June applicant, still waiting for the letter.

I cannot understand what takes so long on background check. The have all the police certificates, all they have to check is those documents. They clearly say: "no trace". Shouldn`t take more than a few minutes to complete that part.

So frustrating.

We all know that we should wait.
However, waiting day by day is not easy for any of us!
I hope to know if they are on vacation at least.
I am so exhausted like you...

Wow... Congrats!!!
Happy for u!
At the same time I envy you PMC89.
I am the applicant with the same AOR date.
This wait is so cruel.
Once we land successfully, is there any chance for them to cancel our PR status?
I am planning to visit home country after landing.
And i will ask someone to send my PR card to my address in home country.

Agree my friend! I prepared my documents very well, they didn't ask for extra documents, but I am still waiting ( June 18 applicant)! I really don't understand why it's so different, some people get only 10-12 months, some people waiting so long time! So sick about this! Really bad!

Hello everyone!

I have received AINP and planning to file application with Federal for Permanent Residency. I am in a confusion
regarding signatures on PR application and other forms. My current signatures are slightly different from the passport signatures which is 8 years old. is it a issue ? If so, please suggest me a solution for the same on urgent basis.

regards,

Hi there,

Here a July 6th applicant.

I called CIC and got lucky to get a nice agent who gave me some good information. He told me Elegibility, criminality and medicals are passed. Only remaining is Security. He told me that they expect to give me PR before October, but this last thing doesnt give me any new info as that would be when my case reach 15 months.....

Thank you for the info..
