I got a new set of GCMS notes. File location PACE. Due date Aug. 18. An officer has been assigned. However a group name is given as Sep Batch. Wondering when to expect PPR.

I was just tired of waiting so decided to call CIC to see if I can find any new info.
They told me everything was done at the end of July and they are having final review.
it was expected comment however feel better to know they are working on FINAL review at least.
Please give us PPR rain next week!!!

In process. And i can only see My cic.
By the way, you got medical request early March and still didnt get ppr??
Horrible...
I saw some people early June who got medical request early March got ppr in this forum.
I think it all depends on which officer works fast,,,,
Hope we all get soon.

When did your background check begin?

The background status in myCIC changed to in progress from not needed on July 20.

Ok! July 3rd applicant, Ontario PNP, inland.
Surprisingly received a document request email to provide following info:

Field of Study
The name of your Thesis Supervisor (Doctoral Advisor)
List of your publications
Detailed CV/Resume: A document containing a description of your education, qualifications and experience.

I had never seen any cases to get document request still after Medical done and Permanent residence fee!!! Only God know howww Longggg this PR process is gonna take! already took 7 years and counting I guess.

Hi there, I received the same message on June 10th. I submit the document they requested the second day on line. After that, nothing happened until yesterday background check changed to "in progress". My application was submitted on June 8th, 2015.

Yes graduated in 2014 tho. Did you submit it through Case Specific Enquiry online form or MyCIC? I couldn't find the option in myCIC to upload anything so submitted via Case Specific Enquiry form.

Send it via paper as they told 20th feb
Reply from same email about spouse rprf fee update on march 19th

Submitted after a week online this time as they mention to do.

Applied & got My GCM Notes on July 20th with every thing Passed. Called CIC on 10th August they said every thing is clear & Just waiting for the Final decision to be made. But They are not sure when they gone do that. and told me they can only take serious action when 6 months are passed after the processing time duration.

So, I have no clue what to do next. Should I send a reminder email to them or should I wait? and how long should i wait


Please Suggest Something.

I was thinking to wait till this weekend and then next week go to mp office again( i wonder if MP can do any thing practically in decision making of my file) and last i was thinking to send them an email asking about my file?
And i will try CIC agent again & i think every time the cic agent open our file he comments in there that we call, i believe.
