Hi I am May 4th 2015 Single Inland applicant still waiting for my PPR. I am wondering how many May 2015 applicants are still waiting. Please share your case as I am getting worried. I hope I am not the only May applicant waiting for PPR. Thanks.

Don't worry, I am Feb 05 applicant got ppr on May 11, one buddy of this forum, having same stream, same province and same visa office but submitted application on late June got ppr in Feb 15. I think it's depends very much on visa officers. So nothing to be worry. Just wait

June 4 applicant MYCIC background check has changed from " Not needed at this time" to "In Progress"

If you've stayed in Canada as a full time student for more than a year, before becoming a permanent resident, you'd get the credit of 1yr towards your citizenship application. The rule was same before the conservatives screwed it up and made it 4yrs out of last 6yrs post PR.

The bill passed 1st reading in the House of Commons and is waiting for 2nd reading. Then there is debate too. Let's hope by the end of this year it takes life.

Hi I am not an expert but from what I understood from the cic websites is any day spend in Canada prior to become a PR holder will be counted as half day and only up to MAXIMUM one year will be credited towards citizenship count. That means if you have spend 2 years in Canada as student or worker, then only ONE year will be credited to citizenship count. Hope i am right. Thanks.

Can anyone help me on the following issue?

I filled my PR application on May 18, 2016 as being nominated by SINP, without Police clearance of my husband from FBI as it takes 15 weeks to get.

Any idea what time, any roughly time frame, I will get additional doc request email ?

I got additional documents for pcc FBI after 9 months, u still hv time, once u receive file number, u can send Ur FBI through case speceific enquiry

Not sure if you have tried with below input data:
Use "None" for language test.
Enter the test id as 000.
Enter the test date as your file received date (to CIO).
Also recheck your birth place (for example, i gave my birthplace as "city,statecode" but when they entered the data they entered as "city statecode". So when i was trying with just "city" it was not linking. So i looked at my gcms to verify this data and then entered how its already set and got linked).
