I am afraid that they go on for leave for weeks due to holidays like they did in March/April. Dont know. Its not encouraging nowadays. :-X :-\

May be you are right. Monday is a holiday in Canada so people take Friday/Tuesday off to make it even longer weekend.

It's the Friday of a long weekend my friend - I would imagine a LOT of people took today off work... or went in to work dreaming of spending their weekend at the lake. So... not much work being done across the country today :P

Today, when I checked my ECAS I found 4th line added but I haven't received any correspondence on May 17 or later. I know that some of your had that situation. Can you please explain me what is going on?

1. We received your application for permanent residence on August 17, 2015.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on November 17, 2015.
3. We started processing your application on November 17, 2015.
4. We sent you correspondence on May 17, 2016. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

Call the call center to know the outgoing email to you and tell that you did not receive hence asking them on it. Sometimes they miss and sometimes it goes to junk folder which we miss.

I am also may 29 applicant Hariraj Mohan. But my VO is Delhi currently

Finally surprised to see that there is one person to give me company but now your file is at NDVO. So dont know when we both will get ppr. So had to browse cic sites 100 times a day till that day comes. I was actually thinking anyway these guys dont follow exact date order while issuing ppr for May month (they did not follow till Apr) and now when it comes to my file, now they are following the sequence. (of course they can miss some and send for them later but they are not issuing in jumbled order). Anyway will see when that day is.....

I dont know why they waited till Apr. Possibly they started verifying your status during eligibility check and then they saw that you exited hence they themselves transferred it. But did you update address? Trying to see what triggered the change in vo.

Last month first I got an email from CIO about additional document request (newly completed Schedule A), then at the end of the day they added to my ECAS same line as yours. As Hari Raj said you should contact CIC to find out what additional doc they want from you. They gave me 30 days, I sent them required documents within 30 days. Limited time.
Good luck to all of us!
