Adii, do you think we might get our PPR with the last batch of May applicants? Can we expect within the next 2-3 weeks max? My friend who applied on April 20, got his PPR on March 31st. 11 months and 10 days, we should receive it now as well

So on my Cic the background status changed from not needed at this time to in progress yesterday and i didn't got any email for update in my cic. Thanks everyone for giving me hope and everyone will get the ppr its just one year + - 5 days from the date of Ur application submit.

Is it compulsory to send the photos or its optional? Team, Does it help in avoiding new photo request during PR card?

Actually CIC is creating trouble for them by creating backlog... They are giving PPR of just 3 days in a week from last 3 weeks while on other hand CIO is sending AOR in just 25 days so the input is faster but output is ridiculously slow

Yes we should expect our PPR with last batch of May applicants but 2-3 week is too long time... I am expecting things to move more quickly next week... Might be next week... CIC can't you see our innocent faces in our application pack.

Hi Agnes, your question is unclear.

On April 6 they sent you email for the documents which they need, example updated schedule, police clearance etc. Usually in the same email they also remind you to pay the RPRF and doing Medical as well. You should go ahead and pay the RPRF and might as well also do the medicals.

I have done the same and they have received my updated documents and medicals.

Its normal. For some people they push the update and for some others they dont push updates to online. Also number of lines in ecas dont matter nowadays.

Thats the 5th line(after medical has received line) you see when you check ECAS status, right? i notice same for me after i got RPRF fee request.

I am a May 29 Applicant Manitoba PNP. Status is still 'In process', sadly.......

I have a question, since I expect my DM email anytime from now. I am an inland applicant with my son and my wife are still in China. In this case, Do I need to ask my wife to send their passports (and pictures) to me, then I send them to Ottowa with mine together. Or they can send theirs to Canadian Embassy to China? Or they have to send theirs to Canadian Embassy to China? Thanks in advance.

Once you get ppr email, instructions are available in that email to request them (ottawa) to send ppr for your dependents in China. While requesting give your family members detail whoever is at China so that they can send a new ppr email for them to submit the passport at the embassy in China. Dont get their passports.
