Hi Pete2020,

I am just wondering how much time they will take to send us the GCMS notes, as I ordered mine via email on April 25th, nothing came up yet?

please let me know or should I call them 8) 8) or wait little longer... :o

Thanks in advance ::) ::)
30 calendar days. If you don't receive in 30 days write an email giving the details.

Today I called the call centre agent and she said that the time is counted from the day they receive the application.

I think the problem is that many agents in the border dont know how everything works. Maybe they dont care, maybe they are not given or the information. Who knows.

Very good to know - thanks!

Best of luck to everyone - my wife and I are already planning our celebratory 'landing' trip to the States. Grand Forks and Fargo here we come! North Dakota won't know what's hit it...(!)

You are right and I have had that bad experience. Before filing my application for PR I asked the call centre agent if I had to send a certain document. She said no it is not required. I filed my application and after 4 long months I get my package back and I resubmit it the very next day with the same document and PCCs that had expired by then. I had no choice as my PNP certificate was about to expire in a few days. The call centre agents are not a very reliable source of information. Because their advice is not documented, they get away with whatever they say.

How are processing times calculated?

Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) calculates processing times from the day CIC receives an application to the day it makes a decision on the application.

This is definitely on my list of things to do - probably not on this trip though. Once I get the COPR, I'm going to take a Friday off work, and drive down from Winnipeg on the Friday morning, then drive back on the Sunday evening. I'll save further afield for when I can take a bit longer off work :)

Don't worry guys, you all will get PPR within 11 to 12 months time frame, more than 10 applicants from my work get PPR within that time including me. So be patient and it will come. Stay positive guys , good luck to you all.
