I just talked with a CIC agent and asked if they could give me a date on when they will review my application. The guy said they cant, but he asked me when I applied, July 6th, and he told me that until Sept 6th I am within the processing time, so nothing to worry until then. No much help.Mishti said:But the problem is also with CIC. They have not specified it anywhere. It is open to interpretation. But going by GCMS notes it is from the day they receive our application.
good enough if they did not say Oct 6th87arq said:I just talked with a CIC agent and asked if they could give me a date on when they will review my application. I am expecting some new for June applicants in this week or next week. Yesterday they send PPR to May 21 applicants so might b this week or next week.87arq said:June appplicants! any news?? No PPR yet?
Yes you are right. It is exactly 12 from the day they started processing and exactly 15 months from the time they received. Can anyone else say something about this?Pete2020 said:My GCMS notes have due date one year from the day they started processing the application
The reply from the CIC agent also shows that the 15 months processing time starts from the day they receive the application.zx86496790 said:good enough if they did not say Oct 6th
The 15 month thing is just an average time though - and its subject to change depending on the volume of applications, the number of staff they have, etc. So some may get looked at much quicker than 15 months, and for some, the wait is much longer. That's just the way averages work!Mishti said:The reply from the CIC agent also shows that the 15 months processing time starts from the day they receive the application.

Today I called the call centre agent and she said that the time is counted from the day they receive the application.aniarmhi said:The 15 month thing is just an average time though - and its subject to change depending on the volume of applications, the number of staff they have, etc. So some may get looked at much quicker than 15 months, and for some, the wait is much longer. Regarding those in June and July waiting for their PPR, I wouldn't start getting excited until June or July of his year - that seems to be the pace things are being worked at for most applicants (but of course not all!)
