On top, IRCC has increased the cap for permanent residents in 2016. The levels are more than what Conservatives said, by around 25,000 - 30,000. If they don't hire more people in their department to do all the paperwork, paper applications will get more and more delayed.

Thanks for sharing the link. Hopefully we get our ppr on time without not much delay.

Sometimes they send in 2-3 batches (happened for March and April), possibly its due to the volume. So hopefully this month they will finish up with MR for June in the next batch. This is for inland but not sure about LVO though.

Agree, I recall they sent MR up to April 15 first and then April 15 to May 30. This also explains that so far the PPR is only sent out up to the middle of April as well. Next week is march brake, probably will not see too much progress until the week after the next.

Thanks for your info and congrats Justyna! On Jan 11, what kind of document was required? If that's schedule A, which section of the schedule needs to be updated if you don't mind sharing.

Thanks!

No, they've requested original criminal record from back home. That's all:)

Hello Redwater, I only have 3 lines on EACS. CIC never requested my any other documents. How about you? I am so worried about it.

Hi Guys
can any one give me advice:

I am June applicant. I got a email from CIC today, they ask me to provide the ORIGINAL AND RECENT police certificate from Russia.
I am not Russian however I studied and worked in there for couple of years from 2005 to 2010. then I came back to my home country in 2011, I understand I have to provide police clearance from any country that I stayed more than 6 months, which I already did in 2011 and I applied police certificate in Russian embassy of my home country. So the police certificate showed non criminal record until 2011. Between 2011-2013, I went to Russia again just for a couple of times for business trip but every time only few day in there.
When I applied the PR last year, I submitted the original police certificate from Russia(which i did in 2011) to CIC, but today they still ask me to send the ORIGINAL AND RECENT police certificate from Russia, I am confused now, does it mean i have to send another Police Clearance between 2011 to 2013? Or the police certificate which I did in 2011 is too early, I have to redo it again? Today I called CIC , but the agent not really helpful, just told me follow instruction provide it again.

Guys, please give me some advice, I will really appreciate

You have to provide another Police Certificate, CIC accepts only the most recent Police certificate regardless of whether you went to that country again or not. My situation is very similar to yours. I live in the UK for 6 years from 2007 to late 2012. When I came here on 2013 to study, I provided a Police certificate that I got that time. I had to re-apply for the same police certificate (had to spend $240) again in June 2015 during my PR application even though I didn't go to the UK since I came here. Obviously, If I haven't been there after coming here I won't have any criminal records. But as we all know the way CIC sometimes work is mysterious and has no logic. So the answer to your question is simply apply for another Russian Police Certificate
