But unfortunately, I still didn't receive it yet. They received my application on June 10th.

However, I did upfront medical on February 8th.

There is a small twist in the situation. I just logged on to ECAS and it says my medical results have been received. I did upfront medical on February 8th.

We received your application for permanent residence on June 10, 2015.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on August 21, 2015.
We started processing your application on August 21, 2015.
Medical results have been received.

But I am still confused as they were still supposed to send me an official email with IMM 1017 form. My Dr. told me to send that form to him when I get the request.

did u call your doctor . maybe he send it allready . if he didnt send it maybe is some mistake . call doctor and see what he say . maybe he allready send it . i think that it is .

Yeah Iam trying to get in touch with the Dr. and see what's up with it. But he told me he will send it once I get the MR and provide him with IMM 1017 form.

Did CIC attach the IMM 1017 form with the MR email? Could you please share what the email said what documents it attached?

More than getting worried, I am just confused. That's because regardless of my upfront medical, I still should have received MR with the IMM 1017 form.

SO I called both the Dr. and CIC

DR. Said: he himself is surprised as all he did was update my results in the e-Medical systems but he didn't send it to CIC as he was waiting for me to send the IMM 1017 form once the request comes. In anyways he said it's probably a good thing and CIC somehow realized I did upfront medical and extracted my information from the e-Medical

CIC said: As usual they can't access my file as I am within the processing time and wasn't very helpful. However, the representative said they were probably somehow able to get my upfront medical results and things should be fine. And probably they won't send me a MR anymore since they all already updated on ECAS saying they received my medical results.

What do you guys think? I guess I have nothing to do then just sit and wait.

That's part of the disadvantage for doing the upfront medical exam. I guess just sit and wait, there is nothing you can do.

Confusion should be there only when you are not seeing the medicals received. As they received your medicals, they dont/cannot ask for medicals as the one received is still valid.

When doctor creates the IME number for you to enable upfront, actually he creates in the number in the medical system which is the medical pool of reports. The only difference is that your IME is not associated to your application till someone does it manually. So when doctor creates IME number and loads the data and completes the reports then its ready to be reviewed but not associated to your profile. So its not that doctor needs to send separately to cic when he created IME at CIC.
Based on medicals received when doctor did not do anything additional, it looks like cic system is doing good and officers are reviewing the ones that are not attached to the application and attaching them manually. So all good.
